I had to think about that one. mmmmm do I find men who do housework sexier? Well I suppose it very much depends on the male doing it. Now George Clooney brandishing a toilet brush is sexy but the thought of Marty Morrissey cleaning your bog and looking sexy at the same time is just not going to happen. If these researchers had done their work more thoroughly they might have found out that what women feel is grateful towards any man who'll help with the ironing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], not that they want to jump their bones.
Although that might indeed happen as a consequence of the woman feeling grateful! In general I personally don't find men who do housework sexier,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], although I do sometimes wonder how my friends have such well-trained husbands. But he's not shy of peeling a spud or two (probably out of fear of not getting fed at all!) and he's a dab hand with those dirty bins,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which I refuse point blank to touch.
But it's the lack of thought when it comes to housework that usually gets men in trouble. Case in point: Himself and Myself were going away for a weekend to Paris - the City of Luuuuv. I spent the week,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], washing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], cleaning,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], ironing and changing beds so that the house would be in an acceptable condition when Granny came to babysit. Himself spent the week in preparation for our trip,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], going to work (as did I),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], playing tennis and watching soccer matches on the telly. He sauntered into the bedroom the night before we left and asked me what should he pack and complaining that I had taken up most of the case with my vast selection of shoes and dresses.
It was the final straw. I stormed out and over to the in-laws on the pretext of giving them childcare instructions where I drank three strong G and strolled back home to find the house in darkness and Himself in bed. The ironing that I had left on the floor had been done,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the kitchen cleaned but Himself wouldn't talk to me. If he had thought of doing all that by himself without me having to storm out then maybe just maybe I'd find him sexier. And we'd still be talking!!
