A 23-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries late last night when she was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision on Creditview Rd,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The young woman and her boyfriend were crossing Creditview at Kenninghall Blvd.,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], half-way between Britannia Rd. and Hwy. when she was struck by a car believed to be a dark-coloured sedan.
The force of the crash knocked the young woman out of her shoes. The victim ended up on the other side of the intersection,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], indicating she either flew through the air for some distance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or was carried on the hood of the vehicle.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance to be treated for broken bones and serious head injuries,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
