Pregnant Teenagers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
now that Andrew is almost 8 months old and constantly pulling himself up on things, i decided it would be best if we bought his first pair of shoes so he could get used to them. they're soft/flexible bottom,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and pretty breathable (plus they were cheap yay!)
well he didn't really care the first time i put them on him,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], probably because we were outside and he was more worried about the birds flying around,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but every time since he starts screaming and if i didn't know any better i'd say he was throwing a tantrum! after getting them on completely he will calm down but then refuse to move. he won't crawl, he won't go to grab anything,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and if we pull him up to have him "walk" around he refuses to move his feet.
did anyone else's LO do this? i'm not sure if i should just return the shoes and just worry about it when he actually starts walking,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or if i should make him deal with the shoes for an hour or so a day so that he realizes they're normal. i just don't want him to suddenly stop trying to progress himself because i forced the shoes on him.
I didn't get shoes for DS until he was walking (more than just the first steps). I didn't bother with anything,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including socks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], when he was pulling up and standing. He also didn't actually walk for a few days in the shoes either,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he had to get used to them and I remember the guy at the store telling us it's probably like feeling bricks on your feet lol.
Connor loves shoes, a little too much. I have to put them on before we get out of the car and only use them for outside. If I don't he will tear them off and chew on them.
The shoes also get easier the more they get used to them. When I first bought them it would take 30 minutes to get them on just ONE foot because he would curl his toes real bad.
