Children can't learn and socialize properly when they are hungry.
Children are our most valuable resource and we should do all we are able to to support their early childhood,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. I have worked in neuro-scientific day care in excess of 12 years and have experienced children sent to school hungry,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
I believe children's grades would go up and challenging classroom behaviours would go down if all children had access to a free and healthy breakfast before school. A government-funded free school-breakfast program won't break the bank,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and it is little cost would repay in a major way in the well-being and positive development of our children.
