FIRESIGN THEATRE's Peter Bergman Dies,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
Part of past is lost, along with the hope of some other new england Firesign Theatre show in the Keswick. Was lucky to determine them live many times. The great thing was that they are as exciting and vibrant live, because they were on any album. One just laughed after which laughed some more,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and of course they were wonderfully subversive .
They never grew old, or stale and therefore are just as funny and refreshing today as they were 40 plus years back. I miss getting stoned with my friends and doing Nick Danger third eye,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], complete, using the sound effects.
Jon: Here's a reminiscence by a friend of Bergman's,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], one Michael Backes, that I found at the Firesign website. I believe a lot of us happen to be trying to say in our own words what Backes says so eloquently in his:
