Reporting from Milan -- So far,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Milan Fashion Week is a bust celebrity-wise (a minimum of American ones -- Dolce Gabbana had a laundry list of boldface names I didn recognize). The only exception to date seems to be Chris Brown, that has popped up in a handful of different places,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including a private Missoni dinner on Friday night, as well as in the leading row at Costume National Homme,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], where he obligingly posed for photos both for press and fans -- by my count some six or seven groups of people approached and asked when they might get their picture taken with him.
From the seeing him during a minumum of one previous men fashion week,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and when I crossed paths with him briefly exiting the Missoni event,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he said he was attending a number of shows this year both here and in Paris. "I might check out some of the couture shows in Paris too," he explained. "winter of discontent" (more about the show in an upcoming post). Brown was wearing a pair of black-and-white plaid/polka-dot shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], that could simply be Vivienne Westwood. I included easy not only simply because they sweet-looking kicks (click the photo to see a larger version), but also simply because they made a great juxtaposition against the "homeless-chic" cardboard that covered the floors.
