Will not make any sense in my experience. Unskilled riders seem to manage fine on fat-tire bikes with rim brakes. (Unless he stating that the V-brake is the fact that much worse than other rim brakes -- I never used one -- but V-brakes were invented to begin with to operate on fat-tire bikes with suspension forks.) I guess he may be stating that you can (as easily) lock up a large tire with rim brakes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I don see that because a problem,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], since you receive even more total braking force with the wide tire.
